James Jensen

LEAD, ORGANISATIONAL DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT

The practical experience you gain in leading teams when lives are at stake, gives you a deep understanding of human behaviors. The nexus of elite level planning and discipline on execution needs to be combined with the most sensitive and deftest of human connection for successful outcomes. James has led many elite teams in the Australian SAS Regiment for the last decade and a half to do just that.

As a former commander he has extensive experience in strategy, operations, and leadership. He now combines this unique practical experience with leading edge research from behavioral science, neuroscience, and psychology.

James is passionate about showing that leading with emotional intelligence is critical to building teams that excel in today’s ever changing business environment. This allows leaders to not only create and lead high performance teams, but also create workplaces and cultures where people want to work and thrive. James believes that the skills needed to build and lead elite military teams are parallel to those needed to build high performing business teams.
